Highways England are embarking on a trial to see if electric charging technology can be installed underneath roads across the country.
This is pretty amazing and is definitely near the top of my list as a way to switch over to electric. Tesla is making incredible strides as far as traveling distance per charge, but the problem of actually charging the vehicle still exists. We can fill up a gas tank in about 5 minutes. People aren’t going to switch over until we have something with a similar level of burden. This might actually end up being even easier than gas in that you don’t ever have to stop.
